Crayon × EXR
Game Jam

Make any fun game, like a platformer, runner, puzzle, or something else you enjoy.

1. Sign up and enter the jam. Pre-registration is now closed. If you registered, keep using the Discord username and email you entered on the form — they need to match the email you used to sign up on Crayon.
2. Build, play, and refine. Open Crayon and build one game. EXR students get 700 credits in total for the jam. Build your entire game on Crayon using multiple prompts, and please be patient with it — play what you make, then improve the gameplay and details steadily rather than rushing out a first version.
3. Publish and share. Publish your game on the Crayon Arcade. Share it with friends, get plays and feedback, and keep improving. Only games published on the Arcade can win a prize.
4. Submit your game. Open the submission form. Submit your published game through this separate form before it closes on 10 September at 12 pm IST. Submit once: only your first submission counts. Pre-registration alone does not count as a game submission.

Use the same signup email and Discord username in both forms and when asking for credits. If the details don’t match, we won’t be able to identify you for credits or prizes.

• First place: $75 + 1 month of Crayon Pro.
• Second place: $25 + 1 month of Crayon Pro.

Crayon Pro includes higher-quality models like Opus and Fable for larger, more detailed games.

• One game per student: Enter one game each. If you build multiple games your entry is disqualified, and if you submit more than once every entry after the first is disqualified.
• Game quality: We’re looking for detailed, fun games built through multiple prompts. One-prompt games won’t qualify.
• Published on the Arcade: Your game must be published on the Crayon Arcade to qualify for a prize.
• Player interest: Share your game with friends and other players. More plays can help your entry stand out.
• Social sharing: Sharing your game on X and LinkedIn earns bonus consideration. Tag Crayon so we can find your post.

Plays and social sharing are bonuses. There is no minimum number of plays or posts needed to qualify.

• One game per student, and one submission per student. Extra games or extra submissions are disqualified.
• Build your entire game on Crayon. Games made in Unity or any other platform are not eligible.
• You can recreate an existing project, as long as you rebuild it on Crayon.
• You can showcase your game in your portfolio.
• Commercial use is allowed.

We’ll repost games from the jam, including entries beyond the winners.
